The Creator's club
The Creator’s Club will help San Dieguito Heritage Museum create new and rotating exhibits for the MainStreet Exhibit Hall
C stands for Choice …you choose the exhibit to work on.
R stands for Researchers…people who love history and researching the history of a particular exhibit.
E stands for Entertainers and Education…exhibits should entertain and educate…Fun challenge - find ways to do both.
A stands for Advertising…press releases, news articles, getting the word out to the public.
T stands for Tool…people who can wield a hammer, hang a light, build a shelf, make a stage, design a sign.
O stands for Organizers…those very important people who see that things get done and done right.
R stands for ROI…business minds, the accounting people, the money and legal brains.
S stands for Supporters…people who would be willing to help any place that is needed.
If you choose to join the Creator’s Club you will be a part of a group of people tied together by a willingness to see your Museum grow. As a member of the CC, you would look at the exhibits that are planned for the next year and choose an exhibit that interests you, that you have a skill in or have knowledge that will help to make that exhibit a success.
Once you choose an exhibit to work on, you and others will meet under the direction of Will Neblett, Museum Director, to plan and execute that particular exhibit. As a CC member you will only be asked to work on an exhibit that interests you. No long monthly meetings! No endless discussions, just plain old fun at creating something special.
Come learn more about the Creator's Club. Attend one of our informational get-togethers at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum at 450 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas. No committment is necessary and complimentary refreshments will be served. Just choose one of the dates below and come as you are! - Wednesday, February 8 at 5pm
