The San Dieguito Heritage Museum was founded in 1988 to collect, preserve and interpret the local history of the San Dieguito River area, including Leucadia, Encinitas, Olivenhain, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and Rancho Santa Fe.
The founders had deep roots in the local communities and cherished the unique history of the area.
The San Dieguito Heritage Museum is pleased to offer you the opportunity to purchase a variety of See's Candy selections. At the same time you will be helping the museum to earn a percentage of the purchase price!

Free Family Activities at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum

The 'grand old lady' turns 85 this year and we are celebrating with a look back at the fascinating history of the La Paloma Theatre. Built for Vaudeville and silent pictures, the La Paloma quickly added sound and has been a focal point of the community ever since. Come to the Museum and relive your experience at the La Paloma.
