Step Into the Story of North County

Discover the rich history of the San Dieguito River region through engaging exhibits, historic buildings, and stories that bring the past to life. From early Native American history and pioneer life to agriculture, ranching, and the communities that shaped our area, there’s something to explore around every corner.

Your visit includes access to the Museum galleries as well as many of the historic buildings throughout The Heritage Ranch Living Heritage Campus.
